We have an exciting new opportunity to join Checkendon Church of England (A) Primary School, due to expansion in numbers, from September we are looking for an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work within our reception class and a knowledgeable TA to work with our year 3 and 4 children. Could you be the person we are looking for?

Our vision at Checkendon CE Primary School is to deliver the best all-round education for our pupils. By working collaboratively, we aim to ignite a passion for learning, enabling every pupil to be the very best they can be.

Checkendon Primary is a small, friendly primary school located in rural Oxfordshire. We serve the community of Checkendon and nearby villages, a significant number of pupils from outside the catchment area choose to attend our wonderful school. Currently, we have 85 pupils.  

As a C of E Primary School, we prioritise fostering growth mindsets in our staff and pupils to achieve high standards. Our values, including Respect, Integrity, Compassion, Courage, and Hope, are deeply embedded in our school culture.
